This will be very useful if you want to communicate with other speedcubers about a specific algorithm. To do this, I will still help you by showing you a few basic cases. It is recommended that you should start learning using the beginner method first, then use the Fridrich method once you have become proficient at that.
Sometimes, it is easier to first build the pair and then insert it. Every PLL can be performed in under a second by the best speedcubers.
We then use the formula used in the beginners method, which is called the X PLL. This will allow you to focus on the tutorisl step, F2L while doing the cross. The cases for this step can all tutkrial solved intuitively if you have enough experience.
Just put the solved face in front of you and you will need to permute the three remaining edges. Your aim is to make all yellow sides face up. This differs from case 2 only by the orientation of the edge blue is up, not orange. You should now decide whether you want to be colour neutral or, well, not colour neutral. After you’re finished, just doing a D move or D’ will align the cross with the faces. Because if everything that is solved is in the back, then it is much easier to find what to solve next. From these 3 cases, frideich should be able to deduce the entire solve.
I found all these cases intuitively, just with practice. Take your time and try to anticipate.
These techniques are very helpful. In particular, every speedcuber ranked in the top 10 by 3×3 average at any point since has used a variant of CFOP. The strategy here is to join a corner of the first layer with the edge that goes above it, then insert that pair.
It has to be maximum once per pair, ideally just once or twice during the whole solve of the F2L. This is the fastest and the easiest Rubik’s cube solving method.

Have a look at the Pochmann method. I would recommend you to start learning all of them only when you already know all the PLLs. Either 2, 3 or 4 corners are incorrectly oriented. Orienting the last layer means putting all the yellow stickers on top. According to me, it is much more interesting to find all the cases by yourself. To improve on the cross, my advice is to solve it blindfolded. Either one face is completely finished or none is.
